A logical question Novell has already been asked is “does Novell plan to continue development of its real-time, enterprise communication and collaboration solution, Novell Pulse?” The answer is an emphatic Yes. Who is going to win the soccer championship?

14 June 2010 - 2:44pm
Everybody is so exited about the soccer world championship in South Africa. Not all europeans like the Vuvuzela-noise as you are unable to hear anything else. The south africans - I just read an article - are very unhappy about the critizism and want to even bring more of these devices to the next game. One question towards my english friends: Isn´t the golf course the better place for a greenkeeper ? Anyhow, I would like to get your input for the soccer poll on our website. Have fun the next couple of weeks. Let the best team win and let South Africa enjoy the party.

Great news to share this week. I (Alex Evans, Novell) got a call from my counterpart at RIM and they are releasing a public beta of their BES 5.0.1 for GroupWise. We have been running 5.0.1 in house for a number of months as part of the early adopter program, so we have been validating it against the latest GroupWise agents.

BrainShare Amsterdam - Running Crazy

20 May 2010 - 5:58pm
BrainShare Amsterdam is Running Crazy - in many different ways actually. First of all, yesterday (Tuesday May 18) appr. 30 people gathered at 18:00 for the Open Horizons Half Marathon - a beautiful run thru the historic city of Amsterdam - past the National Monument on the Dam, the Rijksmuseum, the Red Light district, the Vondelpark and many other beautifull spots - all linked into a fantastic track created by Sander van Vugt (NL). I joined that run myself and while Sander leaded the pack, I was happy to stay at the end of the group to make we did not loose to many runners along the way. And I was not afraid tho admit that I was the last to finish - after all it was Fun2Run.
